The Xamsa PXT 115 has become the Xamsa PXT and got 5 g lighter!
It has the same mold as the PXT 110 but is a bit heavier and more durable.
Based on the feedback we received from players of different levels, PXT 115 feels more solid, has a larger sweet spot, provides better control but is less powerful than the PXT 110.
A few words about technology used in PXT 115 construction.
The frame is made of Toray Japan standard modulus carbon fiber woven with high modulus carbon fiber.
Unlike the PXT 110, the PXT 115 doesn't have basalt in the head of the racquet. No need to reinforce it further as it has a more head heavy balance with a few extra grams in the head, which provides for better durability.
On the image below you will see the shaft of the racquet that looks like a snake skin.
This is a layer of vibration damping material (carbon fiber with polyolefin) woven with a layer of strengthening material (basalt). It's for illustration purposes only. For the final version of the racquet, we painted "snake skin" over with matt black. You can only see it when you remove the grip.
While testing different prototypes, we did a series of drives, volleys and drops and the prototype with "snake skin" on the shaft (155 gr / 365 mm) produced more consistent shots without any vibration and we decided to give it a go.
Hopefully, you will love this racquet too.

Spreading the word in Ottawa
the racquet is excellent so far!
great balance power and control with no vibration and above all great value for money
Works for me. Good flex for vibration free hit.
I really like the PXT 115, its a great intermediate level racket. It gives a good balance between power and control, and is lighter than I expected. Highly recommend.
I love Xamsa racquets. They are very reasonably priced and just as good as the expensive high end racquets. I love the balance of the PXT 115, fairly neutrally balanced.
Used to play with Tecnifibre 125s - which i really liked but I guess I beat up on it too much. The PXT 115 feels great - don't miss the 125s at all especially as the 125s is way more expensive.
PXT 115 has a little more pop and is ever so slightly head heavy, but maneuverable and solid.
Didn't care for the grip that came with it, wrapped it with Mega Tac - nice a sticky now.
I am on my second PXT 115; frame on the first one cracked less than 2 months after purchase. Company did offer me a discount on a new raquet so I took the offer and purchased 2. Been playing regularly now for one month and so far so good........power and touch are probably the best I have felt in my years as "B" player.
I really love this racquet. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the strings, so strung some ashaways in there at a higher tension, since the PXT already provided a ton of power. Now I get a ton of power as well as great touch. Definitely the best racquet I’ve used so far, and at a fraction of the price of other competitive racquets
Very happy with this racket. I actually use as my back-up racket. The price is right . Sturdy but perfectly weighted with nice touch. Definitely recommended. Will buy again
