Xamsa's goal is to support grassroots squash movements by offering camps to club players of all levels, beginner to advanced, at an affordable price. Headed by former PSA pro David Phillips, the event usually takes place at the prestigious Club Atwater conveniently located in Downtown Montreal. Along with 5 more high-level coaches, more than 200 participants got a chance to improve their squash while making new friends and hitting partners. The camp consisted of 4 sessions, with each session emphasizing a different aspect of the game: foundations, attacking, movement and gameplay.
Below you will see the original poster and summaries of those sessions describing the general layout and drills, along with some of the fun experiences.
We are looking forward to running more camps in the future that will be accessible to everyone, and we hope you guys/gals will be interested!
option 2: 12:30 - 14:45
option 3: 15:00 - 17:15
A solid camp overall. I was very pleased to receive personal and detailed advice about my game. Thanks a lot.
I always enjoy the Xamsa Squash Camp! I look forward to the next ones. Thank you!
Thanks again, as always a very nice experience with great people to help improve our squash ! See you next time :)
This was a great experience. Well organised/hosted event offering content with good explanation and description with constructive feedback throughout. Our group was of a similar level which I feel helped greatly. David and Tash adapted the course content well to the group and were able to keep us all involved. Hope to bring a group next time!
I really appreciate your work
I think that would be better if in each court 3 persons are trained and they are at the same level
I will be joining for your next camp for sure
Tnx
Good pieces of advice from great teachers in a friendly and fairly competitive environment, the only downside being that all of this was too short !
Enjoyed it, coaches/staff are great but the drills were pretty much the same as last years camp ;)
I really enjoyed it and I definitely leaned a few things. Thank you
Good intensity and footing technics, but could have used some more tips for the swing.
