Both Crucible and Duro 120 models share the same mold, but the Crucible is 5 grams lighter and made of more premium materials.
The racquet shape has proven its success over the years and is still actively offered by many brands around the world. Some players call it “hybrid” as it's not exactly a “bridged” racquet like the Obsidian, and it's not a teardrop racquet like the PXT. It’s somewhere in between in terms of power and control.
This frame could be a good choice for all around players, allowing for controlled tight drop shots and good length while still generating considerable pace when needed. Overall, Crucible is not as powerful as the PXT model, but provides superior control.
Crucible uses the same materials and technology as the PXT 115 model, which has proven to be a high performance racquet with outstanding durability.
The frame is made of Toray Japan standard modulus carbon fiber woven with high modulus carbon fiber.
The image below shows the snake skin style shaft of the racquet.
This is a layer of vibration dampening material (carbon fiber with polyolefin) woven with a layer of strengthening material (basalt). The image is for illustrative purposes only. The actual racquet shaft has the "snake skin" painted over with matt black. You can only see it when you remove the grip.
Give it a try with no risk involved as you can return it within 30 days for a store credit in case you are not 100% satisfied, thanks to the Xamsa Satisfaction Guarantee program. The store credit doesn't expire and can be used on any products at SportsVirtuoso.com web site or in-store.

If you have any questions, please do contact us.
Dear fellow squash players, my name is Tim Burganov and I will be taking care of warranty issues. The following is information about the Xamsa Warranty Program. If you have any concerns after reading, please send me an email and I will get back to you shortly.
The idea behind creating Xamsa Squash is to promote squash and to offer high quality racquets at fair prices. We do our best to avoid any manufacturing defect however if there is a problem, we are here to resolve it. Due to relatively high cost compared to selling price, we cannot afford a no-fault warranty program.
You are the only person who knows exactly what happened to your racquet therefore we leave it up to you to decide.
If your racquet broke within 30 days of purchase, we kindly ask you to assess the damage and choose one of the following options:
Please note: the custom stringing is not covered by warranty. There is a $15 shipping fee for the replacement racquet (Canada and the US). For other countries, the shipping fee will depend on your location. To avoid the shipping expenses for the replacement racquet, you can buy any racquet and we will enclose a replacement racquet at no extra shipping fee. If we need the broken racquet back, we will let you know and will provide a pre-paid return shipping label.
If your racquet broke after 30 days of purchase but you only played with it a couple of times, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. Please rest assured that we will find a satisfactory solution.

This is one truly durable racquet!! I have hit it hard on some courts but it's still going strong. The hybrid shape gives it a lot of extra control, while still retaining most of the power that you might get from a teardrop racquet like the pxt incognito. Great value for money, and as always, the customer service cannot be matched!
In my opinion, squash racquets are kind of like golf clubs. Most people never seem totally satisfied. I was always like this - until now. I love this racquet. I have always hit the ball pretty hard and I was worried about the power. Nothing to worry about here. The ball really pops of the strings. The big difference for me is how much my touch has improved. I was prone to hitting the ball too loose on my forehand. With this racquet I seem to be able to keep all of those length shots tight on both walls. I've never had a great drop shot but those shots have also gotten dramtically better for me. I also notice that when I'm in an awkward position and I'm sure that I'm going to hit a bit of the side wall I'm somehow able to still hit it nice and tight along the wall. I honestly couldn't be happier with this racquet and it will be the only one in my bag going forward.
10/10 would buy again
I received the racquet when expected and have used it several times since. I love the playability of the racquet. I experienced one issue with the plug at the end of the handle coming loose but Tim was quick to assist me on a personal phone call.
Throughout most of 2019 I’ve been trying numerous different brands and models to find “the one”. I play about 3 times a week, including club league and tournaments. A few months ago, I finally settled on the Crucible. It provides me with the best control and accuracy on my drives and drop shots, and no issues with power/length and durability. The balance and weight just feel right in my hand and for my game. I love the simple, matte black cosmetics. Of course, great customer service from Tim.
I have only had this racquet for a few weeks and am already enjoying it. The control with this racquet is just amazing. The Xamsa grip that it comes with is also very nice.
Love the shape, weight and balance of the Crucible. Best racquet I have ever used. Upgraded to the X-Glu grip and now I can’t imagine ever using any other racquet. Amazing.
Excellent racquet. I feel in control with it and has a great feel when hitting the ball. I can generate a decent amount of power when needed, and it has lasted a long time (since Oct 2018). I recently picked up another one I liked it so much. Highly recommended.
I got exactly what I was looking for : a light, slightly head-heavy racket, with a hybrid head shape I am familiar with that gives you loads of control and plenty of power when needed. I bought two of these and both weighted about 153-154 grams, so the advertised cross-weight checks out just fine. It's a quite stiff frame that absorbs vibrations beautifully which results in a comfortably playable racket. Recommended!
The more I play with it the more I like it.

Took a risk and bought without testing it. Used it for a few games so far and love the control.
Great racket, very happy with my purchase. Feels more manoeuvrable and quicker than my old, now backup, crucible (not incognito), which I also love. A noticable improvement on back corner work and volleying. Would recommend to all players. Looks sexy too.
Love my new doubles racquet. This is my second Xamsa purchase and it did not disappoint. Great quality at a great price.
